Subject [users@httpd] 1.3.29 with mod_ssl on Solaris compile issues
Date Fri, 28 Nov 2003 15:53:04 GMT
Hi all...

Having some trouble getting 1.3.29 with mod_ssl-2.8.16-1.3.29 to compile.

I ran the following configure from the mod_ssl dir:

./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.29 --with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl
--with-mm=../mm-1.1.3 --prefix=/opt/apache-ssl --enable-shared=ssl

Then cd back to the apache dir, ran the make, and get:

gcc -c -I../../../mm-1.1.3 -I../os/unix -I../include -DSOLARIS2=290
-DMOD_SSL=208116 -DEAPI -DEAPI_MM -DUSE_EXPAT -I../lib/expat-lite `../apaci`
http_core.c
http_core.c:4168: parse error before '<' token
http_core.c:4301: confused by earlier errors, bailing out
make[3]: *** [http_core.o] Error 1

Any ideas? The http_core.c file doesn't even contain that many lines, so
I'm not sure what's going on.

OS is Solaris 9.
