Subject RE: [users@httpd] QUESTION: which one to start first
Date Thu, 27 Nov 2003 14:47:30 GMT
With old versions of Tomcat, you needed to start Tomcat first, wait a few seconds and start
(or graceful) apache. With Tomcat 4.1.x you can start them in any order.

Subject: [users@httpd] QUESTION: which one to start first

	Dear all,

here are two questions I would like to have your expert opinions on:

	1. If one has both Apache and Tomcat running on the same machine (W2K Pro), does it matter
which one is started first?
	2. After starting the first one of them, do you need to wait a few seconds before starting
the second one?

	thanks in advance,

	Jarmo
