Hi Joshua,

Is 2.0.40 really that old? It's only 0.0.08 back from the latest one and is
the latest RH rpm available. I'll try and build a later version which will
hopefully fix this issue for me but that doesn't change the core issue which
is that there is an issue in 2.0.40 which is the version that my users which
are on RedHat use (and yes I know it will expire fairly shortly). I can't
really expect them to build apache from source and that version is the
latest RH rpm so if I can find a fix or workaround for the installed user
base that works with this version that would suit me fine. If I was going to
advise them to change apache versions I'd get them to go back to 1.3 until
2.0 gets a little more mature anyway.

However, like I said I will try a build and report back.
