Hi All,

I downloaded mod_dosevasive.c and Makefile.tmpl.

Now I need to add that module, I think I need to rebuild apache !!

But how to compile/rebuild apache with mod_dosevasive.c, so that it will generate mod_dosevasive.so file.......

Note: I am using apache on windows !!.

Iam using Apache 1.3.28 and Jserv 1.1.2 on a windows platform. I was told to secure the webserver for DoS (Denial of Service) Attacks.
I was told to try out mod_dosevasive !!.

But what is it, how to use it, where can I get the documentation and installation procedure?

Can any one tell me please, Is it a good solution to go for mod_dosevasive?
