Subject [users@httpd] httpd gets... stuck
Date Fri, 31 Oct 2003 04:51:36 GMT
Hello Friends,

I am facing a problem, the "httpd" gets stuck
whenever I restart it.

Though I have found a remedy but it's not the
permanent solution. I found that the kernel log daemon
(klogd) hangs up whenever I restart the httpd. I am
able to start httpd only after killing and restarting
the klogd.

Please help me by suggesting a permanent solution to
this problem.

Linux version 2.4.18-18.7.x (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-112)
Apache Server: apache-1.3.27-2
Uptime: 11:41pm up 10 days, 18:36, 1 user, load average: 0.36, 0.18, 0.12

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours,
Abhinav
