I have /my-websource/my-alias-subdir/test.pdf Using IE: When I open http://my-server/my-alias-subdir/test.pdf, then the pdf document is displayed correctly in the acrobat plugin. When I open http://my-alias/test.pdf, there comes a dialog asking me to download the file, no other choice. It works as it should (open acrobat also when using the rewritten alias url) in both netscape and opera. I read some postings about problems with pdf and ie but none regarding my problem with rewritten urls. Any help would be greatly appreciated. best regards, Thomas --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
