I haven't got any errors while configuring and compiling Apache, but when i issue the apachectl command i get this error: Syntax error on line 69 of /opt/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /opt/apache2/modules/mod_status.so into server: ld.so.1: /opt/apache2/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file /opt/apache2/modules/mod_status.so: symbol __floatdisf: referenced symbol not found Line 69 is: LoadModule status_module modules/mod_status.so My LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable is set to: [root@lilly /sviluppo/httpd-2.0.47]$ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH /opt/csw/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/lib Right now, i was able to start apache by removing the LoadModule and the ExtendedStatus lines. But , what's the problem? Does someone have a clue on what's wrong? Thanks in advance for any help Roberto P.S. The configure script i made to compile is: nice --20 ./configure --enable-file-cache=shared\ --enable-deflate=shared\ --enable-logio=shered\ --enable-mime-magic=shared\ --enable-cern-meta=shared\ --enable-headers=shared\ --enable-usertrack=shared\ --enable-unique-id=shared\ --enable-ssl=shared\ --enable-cgi=shared\ --enable-suexec=shared\ --enable-info=shared\ --enable-vhost-alias=shared\ --enable-speling=shared\ --enable-rewrite=shared\ --enable-access=shared\ --enable-auth=shared\ --enable-autoindex=shared\ --enable-userdir=shared\ --enable-dir=shared\ --enable-alias=shared\ --enable-imap=shared\ --enable-status=shared\ --enable-asis=shared\ --enable-negotiation=shared\ --enable-negotiation=shared\ --enable-logio=shared\ --enable-env=shared\ --enable-setenvif=shared\ --enable-actions=shared\ --enable-mime=shared\ --enable-log-config=shared\ --enable-include=shared\ --disable-cgid --with-ssl=/opt/csw \ && nice --20 make -s && make -s install --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
