Subject [users@httpd] Upgrading Apache
Date Tue, 02 Sep 2003 05:25:54 GMT
Hello:

I am running Apache 1.3.20-16 which came with RedHat 7.2, and I was
hacked. I understand I need to upgrade Apache to a more secure
version. What version should I go to? And I'm afraid I'll need some step
by step directions. I have rmp installed, but that's about as far as I've got.

Also, will an upgrade overwrite my httpd.conf? Do I need a new conf for
the new version?

TIA
