Subject [users@httpd] Problem with symbol __floatdisf on solaris 9
Date Mon, 22 Sep 2003 08:59:27 GMT

i'm having a problem with apache 2.0.47 built on
Solaris 9 (Sparc).

I haven't got any errors while configuring and compiling
Apache, but when i issue the apachectl command i get this error:

Syntax error on line 69 of /opt/apache2/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /opt/apache2/modules/ into server:
/opt/apache2/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file
/opt/apache2/modules/ symbol __floatdisf: referenced
symbol not found

Line 69 is:
LoadModule status_module modules/

My LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable is set to:
[root@lilly /sviluppo/httpd-2.0.47]$ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Right now, i was able to start apache by removing the LoadModule and
the ExtendedStatus lines.

But , what's the problem? Does someone have a clue on what's wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help

The configure script i made to compile is:

nice --20 ./configure --enable-file-cache=shared\
  --disable-cgid --with-ssl=/opt/csw \
    && nice --20 make -s && make -s install
