Subject [users@httpd] [Q] Apache 2.0.47 and Windows XP Home edition
Date Wed, 10 Sep 2003 06:36:12 GMT
Hello.

I have used Apache 1.3.x on Windows XP home/pro edition without any problem.
However when I install the latest version 2.0.47, it couldn't seve web
request.

I installed the latest version after uninstalling previous version and
remove every
files for the older one.
Port scanning showed that the port 80 is opened, however it doesn't return
any thing, and my web browser keeps working to trying to retrieve html file.

I used http://127.0.0.1

Could someone explain why this happens?

Thanks,
