Subject [users@httpd] Authenticating proxy
Date Fri, 19 Sep 2003 03:42:58 GMT
Hi all,

I'm trying to get my proxy server (apache 2) to authenticate users before
proxying for them. It seems to be proxying just fine, but it's not asking
for credentials.

This is the relevent part of my config file:

    ProxyRequests On
    <Directory proxy:*>
        AuthType Basic
        AuthName "Diehl Proxy"
        AuthUserFile /home/httpd/passwd
        Require valid-user
    </Directory>

So, what am I missing?

Thanx,
Mike.
