Subject [users@httpd] Mod_ssl problem with server.crt
Date Thu, 07 Aug 2003 13:22:14 GMT
Greetings,

I'm having to get mod_ssl working on an apache server on a linux box. I'm
getting this error message when I try to start the server. I have made sure the
webserv is the owner (apache runs as webserv) so I'm not sure what needs to be
done.

Here's the error message

[Thu Aug 7 08:49:00 2003] [error] mod_ssl: Init: Unable to read server certific
ate from file /usr/local/apache/conf/ssl.crt/server.crt (OpenSSL library error f
ollows)
[Thu Aug 7 08:49:00 2003] [error] OpenSSL: error:0D06B08E:asn1 encoding routine
s:ASN1_d2i_bio:not enough data

This is what server.crt looks like

-r-------- 1 webserv users 68 Aug 6 10:12 server.crt

Thanks,
Bobbie
