But you can request www.mydomain.tld or your_server_ip from your browser on
that machine? Weird... If you revert to your single host setup (which I
figure was working), does it work then?

...which is on the same IP as Apache, right? Could you have some nasty
firewall filtering request on port 80? Nah, that doesn't make sense
either...

Could you walk over to the box Apache is running on and do telnet there and
see if you can get it to work?
