It is development only.  When it is released, it will be called 2.2 (linux
kenerl-style).

As far as Reasoning's analysis, you should consult the archives of the
dev@httpd list for a response.  In summary:

1. They have identified a few very small issues in the code.

2. The vast majority of their issues are incorrect.  Apache deliberately
does not check for out-of-memory conditions, because it is better to fail
as soon as possible in this case.
