Subject Re: [users@httpd] port redirect
Date Thu, 03 Jul 2003 15:25:13 GMT
ok i will try it more detailed now

if i use the link

lynx http://www.blabla.de/directoy/

everything works fine

if i use the link without a Trainling slash

i will get the output

lynx http://www.blabla.de/directoy

Looking up www.blabla.de
Making HTTP connection to www.blabla.de
Sending HTTP request.
HTTP request sent; waiting for response.
HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently

Making HTTP connection to www.blabla.de:85
Alert!: Unable to connect to remote host.

I have seen something about an "Trailing Slash
Problem"
in the documentation and a way to configure an
.htaccess to solve the problem. Because of we have
more
instances in the DocumentRoot we can't configure an
.htaccess. My question is if there is an other way to
solve this problem without configure an .htaccess and
suppress the port :85.
