Subject [users@httpd] HTACCESS Login - Redirect for users outside of LAN
Date Fri, 11 Jul 2003 16:36:27 GMT

Sorry for this one, Been a while since i have had to configure Apache,

Have a Server that is used for Development of Websites -
The sites are fully configured on the server as if they were on any web
I have put htaccess rules in the httpd.conf file to support logins for users
to view the pages,

But now the client wants uses outside the Local LAN not to be presented with
the Login Prompt when they visit
they want it to redirect every request to the URL
from outside the LAN to another URL, (on the same server)

Some samples, config's, or a pointer to a "Howto" Would be great, I search
the Docs etc, But didn't find anything of relevance,.

Thanks in advance for your help.
