Hello Jeff,

Thanks for the info.
Its strange. Now, 
Localhost/cgi-bin/printenv.pl returns with the question to download the
file.
While localhost/cgi-bin/env.pl works.

(and the other files I have to check with .cgi, still returns error
500/Internal Server Error)

any idea why?

Should put the line:
AddHandler cgi-script .pl
Within the <Directory /cgi-bin/.......> container
