You aren't clear on whether you are using IP-based or name-based virtual
hosting.  (See the virtual host docs for a definition.)

Assuming you are using name-based virtual hosting, simply put the
following BEFORE your existing <virtualhost>

<VirtualHost ip>
ServerName ip
DocumentRoot /wherever/you/want
</VirtualHost>
