Subject RE: [users@httpd] SSL problem

I appreciate the suggestion.  The machine I'm using as a web server is
actually dual-boot with Windows and Linux, and I was able to connect using
SSL and IIS on port 443 (from other machines) but using Apache it only
connects from a local browser (i.e. on the same machine as the server).

I'm really stuck here, so any further advice would be much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure it's a firewall problem if you can do it from locally but
not from remote. It's possible that port 80 is open but 443 is closed in the
firewall.
