Check your error logs for more information. Most likely, you either have a
runtime error in your script or the script is executing but isn't behaving
like a nice CGI script should. Are you printing a content-type header? Are
you printing a blank line between your header(s) and your message body? Try
a simple script like this: 

#!/usr/bin/perl 
print "Content-type: text/plain\n\n"; 
print "Hello, Web.";
