This is usually due to early versions of MSIE dropping the connection
prematurely when trying to do an HTTP/1.1 keep-alive session. The effect
in the browser is that the page appears to load but with a few broken
images. Reloading usually fixes it. On the server, disabling keep-alive
should fix it (but will slow down the page delivery) or try the trick in
the FAQ on the mod_ssl site:
http://www.modssl.org/docs/2.8/ssl_faq.html#ToC49

If you want to know more, cut'n'paste the error into Google and stand
well back...

Rgds,
Owen Boyle
