Subject [users@httpd] SSLSessionCache Cannot allocate shared memory?
Date Tue, 20 May 2003 22:44:05 GMT
I had Apache 2.0.45 with PHP 4.2 and OpenSSL running just fine. I upgraded PHP to version 4.3
and now Apache complains.

[Tue May 20 18:16:16 2003] [error] (17)File exists: Cannot allocate shared memory
[Tue May 20 18:17:51 2003] [error] (17)File exists: Cannot allocate shared memory
[Tue May 20 18:22:23 2003] [warn] Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache]

I have modified the conf/ssl.conf SSLSessionCache directive many ways without success and
Apache does not run anymore. I have not found an explanation.

Has anyone been able to resolve this? My system is Solaris 9 if it matters.

Best regards,

Michael
