Subject RE: [users@httpd] CGI Error

setup.cgi was the name of the script i was tring to install. That works 
from command too. I made a simple perl script from vim to make sure no 
unwanted characters got stuffed in, so if i can get the simple one working, 
then i know it's the setup.cgi script. Baby steps.

I typed:
su apache

commonhttpd.conf says:
### Common server configuration
#
User apache
Group apache

Doesn't that work?
