/home = 777
/home/nsla = 777
/home/nsla/public_html = 777
/home/nsla/public_html/cgis = 777
and i added a ScriptAlias to cgis so it comes out /~nsla/cgi-bin

su'ed exec:
[apache@vectec cgis]$ ./system.cgi
Content-type: text/html

<BODY>

[apache@vectec cgis]$

Still a 500 from browser!

Sounds like a bug to me!
