There is a whole lot more to SSL than switching on a few extra directives.. Even if you had a working SSL config, you need many more things set up on your system before it would work (OpenSSL libs, certificates, etc.) Go back and read the docs some more - apache2 has mod_ssl as an extension module (http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/mod_ssl.html) so look there. Apache 1.3 you have to download mod_ssl (http://www.modssl.org/) or go with Apache-SSL (http://www.apache-ssl.org/) Rgds, Owen Boyle Disclaimer: Any disclaimer attached to this message may be ignored.=20 > > >--------------------------------------------------------------------- >The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP=20 >Server Project. >See for more info. >To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscribe@httpd.apache.org > " from the digest: users-digest-unsubscribe@httpd.apache.org >For additional commands, e-mail: users-help@httpd.apache.org > > This message is for the named person's use only.
