Subject [users@httpd] Trailing slash in URL
Date Fri, 25 Apr 2003 09:32:59 GMT
I am using Apache on Linux to run a web server. I use index.php and
index.html files in various locations. Is there any way you can get rid of
the need to put a slash at the end of my URL. If someone types in
http://my.web.server/directory it times out - they need to enter
http://my.web.server/directory/ to access my index files.

Often people can't get on to the site because they don't enter the last
slash.
