Subject [users@httpd] SSL Re-negotiation in conjunction with POST method not supported
Date Wed, 16 Apr 2003 11:33:29 GMT
Hi,

I'm running RedHat 7.3 with Apache 2.0.44 with mod_ssl. I'm using
server certificates.
My version of OpenSSL is 0.9.6b.

When I try and perform a doPost request I get the following message in
my error_log file:
SSL Re-negotiation in conjunction with POST method not supported!
   hint: try SSLOptions +OptRenegotiate

Trying +OptRenegotiate does not change this behavior.

When I change the doPost to a doGet the action is successful. I've
searched the archives and it appears
that several people have some across this issue. I believe this
corresponds to the following bug:

  http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12355

Has anyone come up with a work around for this issue?

Any help at all on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Geoff
