Hi,

I am sure that this question will have been asked before, but
I would like to know, what the recommendation is regarding
Apache 2.x and LDAP I note that the LDAP modules
are still 'experimental' according to the web site?

Unfortunately, I cannot find any guidance on LDAP authentication
on the web site .

I am trying to build 2.0.45 on Solaris 9. The configure
seems o.k. but the make falls over some way in with:

util_ldap.c:81:2: #error mod_ldap requires APR-util to have LDAP support
built in
followed by lots more C errors.

Should I expect Apache 2.0.45 to, at least, build if I have
installed OpenLDAP and I use the --enable-ldap and
--enable-auth-ldap configuration directives?
Do I need any other directives or should I be adopting some
other method?

Can anyone give me some guidance on what the current
recommendations might be?

Thanks in anticipation

Ray
