Pls make sure that you have two copies of perl executables one as 'perl' 
and the other as 'perl6.x'...

Yes| in debian we have to place the cgi files in usr/lib/cgi-bin 
only.

Then i can execute the perl script from commnad line.Only when i 
use the apache it creates some problem
