Subject [users@httpd] Redirection
Date Mon, 21 Apr 2003 12:14:38 GMT
I'm sure this is simple, but I seem to have a brain fart in trying to
determine the best way to do this. I have redesigned several sites and want
them to go live. No problems there, however, there are old links on the web
or search engines that reference specific pages on the old sites that no
longer exist on the new sites. So I want to take a url of
www.xyz.com/anypage.htm and redirect it to the main page of the new site
www.xyz.com. The sites are virtual hosts. I think what I want is
mod_rewrite. Any quick ideas would help a lot. Thanks.
