Hi,

I installed Apache 2.0.44 on Windows = 2000, when I=20 start the server, one Apache process keeps a very high cpu usage which = is at=20 around +90% (I just installed the base product without any additional=20 configuration).  I tried that on another machine, and it went ok on = the=20 other machine.  I don't have much log to look at and the error log = looks=20 fine to me:

[Tue Mar 11 19:42:42 2003] [notice] = Parent: Created=20 child process 1696
[Tue Mar 11 19:42:42 2003] [notice] Child 1696: = Child=20 process is running
[Tue Mar 11 19:42:42 2003] [notice] Child 1696: = Acquired=20 the start mutex.
[Tue Mar 11 19:42:42 2003] [notice] Child 1696: = Starting 250=20 worker threads.
[Tue Mar 11 19:44:48 2003] [notice] Parent: Received = shutdown=20 signal -- Shutting down the server.
[Tue Mar 11 19:44:48 2003] = [notice] Child=20 1696: Exit event signaled. Child process is ending.
[Tue Mar 11 = 19:44:49=20 2003] [notice] Child 1696: Released the start mutex
[Tue Mar 11 = 19:44:50=20 2003] [notice] Child 1696: Waiting for 250 worker threads to = exit.
[Tue Mar=20 11 19:44:50 2003] [notice] Child 1696: All worker threads have = exited.
[Tue=20 Mar 11 19:44:50 2003] [notice] Child 1696: Child process is = exiting
[Tue Mar=20 11 19:44:50 2003] [notice] Parent: Child process exited=20 successfully.

Basically the whole machine becomes = very slow and I=20 cannot load up the root page (http://host/).  Is=20 there any additional aid (logs, tools) that can help me to solve this=20 problem?

Kind Regards,

Kel
