Subject RE: FW: [users@httpd] Make not working for apache
Date Fri, 28 Mar 2003 13:53:38 GMT
Greetings Laurent,
Okay I figured that out yesterday - not the strange thing is I can't compile the
GNU make so I can use that to compile the apache - :)

I get this error message when I try to build the gnu make - and I am putting the
path to the make directory in there...
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all'

Thanks,
bobbie

That's easy, just add /usr/ccs/bin to the PATH, since it seems that some
script doesn't find it from where it was run.

Do (for sh/ksh/bash):
export PATH=/usr/ccs/bin:$PATH

Also note that there is a bug in the Apache 2.0.44 scripts, and GNU grep
is needed, it won't work with Sun's.

HTH,

Laurent
