Subject [users@httpd] Access and Auth, anyone done this?
Date Fri, 14 Mar 2003 11:05:54 GMT
Hi there.

I have a question about mod_auth and mod_access.

I have a web application, where i need a custom auth and access control
for every user of the system.

here's the setup:

Each user should have his/hers own folder.
		in http.conf.

( This is the root folder, each user get his own folder
there, fx. http://host/acount/Username )

		Alias /Account "/path/to/folder"
		<directory "/path/to/folder">
			Dav on
			Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
			AllowOverRide authConfig Limit
			order deny,allow
			deny from all
			allow from localhost
Each user-folder has a .htaccess for auth of the user.

	Here come the tricky part.

If the user is watching his folder through out App, we have already
auth'ed him
so i don't need the auth for each folder/file from Apache.

I only need Auth from Apache when doing Dav to the folder .

How can i do this ?

	Can i use <IfModule > ?
