Subject [users@httpd] Problems starting SSL Apache
Date Thu, 13 Mar 2003 00:50:02 GMT

Hi all, I am new to the list.

I have been trying different things and compiles on httpd-2.0.44 and have
found a number of problems.

Most important is https, this is the error when I try to start it with the
ssl-stc config file:

httpd: Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using
127.0.0.1 for ServerName
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

The normal httpd starts just fine. I opened it on socket a 443 and checked by
browsing from it.

Down the road I might need help w/ other services such as LDAP :)

TIA, John
