Short answer: Yes.

A segmentation fault happens when somebody accesses memory they had no business
being in. With the segfault and bus erros you're experiencing, it looks like
you have a hardware problem on your hands. Are you experiencing similar behavior
with other programs? Do system heavy compiles fail with these errors?
