Subject [users@httpd] Fw: Multiple Virtual servers : One Log File?
Date Thu, 13 Mar 2003 00:57:37 GMT

If I set up a custom log file for 3 deifferent virtual
servers, can they all log to the same file correctly?

Here's the section of the httpds.conf file:
<VirtualHost 192.58.150.71>
DocumentRoot "/am/contents"
ServerName testcontent.aip.org
ErrorLog logs/error_log_testcontent
CustomLog logs/am_log combined
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost 192.58.150.72>
DocumentRoot "/am/authors"
ServerName testauthors.aip.org
ErrorLog logs/error_log_testcontent
CustomLog logs/am_log combined
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost 192.58.150.73>
DocumentRoot "/am/topics"
ServerName testtopics.aip.org
ErrorLog logs/error_log_testcontent
CustomLog logs/am_log combined
</VirtualHost>

We're running Apache with this information:
Server Version: Apache/1.3.9 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.4.10 OpenSSL/0.9.4 ApacheJServ/1.1 mod_perl/1.21

We cannot upgrade :( So please limit anyt responses
to this or earlier versions.

I tested it and it seems to work but I can't be sure.

Thanks for any advice,
=Scott
