Well, first off you should try to use the latest version of Apache:
httpd.apache.org, this will let us know if it's a fixed problem.........
.1.3.17 is a bit old :)

What server were you using before?

Subject: [users@httpd] Missing CGI Environment variable PATH_TRANSLATED

Hi,

I have recently migrated to Apache Web Server 1.3.17. It is found that some
of the CGI Environment variables are missing in my installation. Specially
the PATH_TRANSLATED one. I have searched the entire Apache site and didn't
really find anything related to this problem. Any idea what the problem is?
And how can I get this PATH_TRANSLATED variable back?

Thanks,
Raghu
