Not sure which ones are safe, and which not. I decided for this very same reason not to use PHP on my Apache 2 server, but use a 1.3.x-one instead. I would very much like to suggest Apache 2 (since it almost production ready for non-ealy adapters), but if you are using PHP heavily, I would advise you to stick to 1.3. But keep an eye on the Apache and PHP websites for news on Apache 2 and PHP 4. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Rossi" To: Sent: Thursday, February 06, 2003 12:29 AM Subject: RE: [users@httpd] HTTPD 2 production quality for php4 ? > and which php extensiosn are they ? i usually use xslt , gd, pdf , ming etc > , i'd just like to knowif httpd2 would be a better option instead of 1.3 > with the patch ? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Sander Holthaus - Orange XL [mailto:info@orangexl.com] > Sent: Wednesday, February 05, 2003 10:54 PM > To: users@httpd.apache.org > Subject: Re: [users@httpd] HTTPD 2 production quality for php4 ? > > > Not sure what you mean, but my guess is that you are wondering if the > combination Apache 2 - PHP 4.3.0 is of production quality. > PHP still regard Apache2 and PHP 4 as experimental.
