	Not sure how you are with server side scripting languages.  But you could write a snip in
php that would do this too.  It can work with htlm headers, do the handshake, decode the information,
make a ldap connect (using pure php code) to A.D. validate the data. Then using phps session
control features to keep track of the loged in user.  I might write something that does this
but it will not be within the next few days :).  But it's completely possible.  The nice feature
of that is php is very platfrom independent.   And I think it could be done in a fairly light
about of code

Completely hiding the login part would definitely be useful, I hope it 
will be stable someday soon!
