Yes - to some extent... The Proxy directives allow you to set up simple
matching rules like:

ProxyPass /servlet/ http://localhost:8080/ 

So then http://server/servlet/xyz will map to

mod_rewrite is much more powerful and allows conditional matching,
multiple substitutions and lots of other things. Check the documentation
for these directives for the details.
