Looks basically OK - some things to try:

Is the AddHandler directive located in such a place that it can apply to
webspace of the map-file? That is, is it at server config level or
inside the VH or directory container pertaining to the map-file?

Look in the access log when you click - you should see a request for - do you? Does it say anything in the error log?

What happens if you request the map file directly, e.g.

I assume you do have mod_imap loaded, (normally, it's in by default) -
do "./httpd -l" to check.
