Yes, apache is on port 80.  However, I called the technical support for the 
cable company, and they said they didn't have a problem with webservers for 
experimental use on their network.  But, it could be that they restrict too 
much bandwidth flowing between two nodes or something like that.  I am not 
too knowledgable about networking type things, so pardon my ignorance.
