Subject [users@httpd] httpd error when loading
Date Tue, 04 Feb 2003 09:15:20 GMT
Hi ApacheUsers

I'm experiencing difficulties starting Apache and ModSSL when ModSSL is a shared module.

I downloaded Apache 1.3.12, Openssl-0.9.6b and Modssl-2.6.6-1.3.12.

I used the following options to compile Apache

$ ./configure \
> --with-apache=/home/simon/apache_1.3.12 \
> --with-ssl=/opt/TWWfsw/libopenssl09 \
> --prefix=/home/simon/Apache12SO \
> --enable-shared=ssl

bash-2.02$ httpd startssl
Syntax error on line 208 of /home/simon/Apache12SO/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /home/simon/Apache12SO/libexec/ into server: httpd: fatal:
open failed: No such file or directory

The directory exists and httpd does not start with the startssl option.

I'd greatly appreciate any advice
