Subject [users@httpd] Alias Problem - OpenBSD
Date Sat, 01 Feb 2003 17:14:05 GMT
I just installed Apache in OpenBSD and everything but aliases is working fine.
/var/www/ is my root directory for Apache and I can't seem to get anything
to Alias at or below my root directory. So I can set up an alias to
/var/www/icons or /var/www/logs but NOT /var/www.

Both directories appear to have correct permissions set (read & execute for
all users).

As a final test of this, I copied the Apache icons alias example and
replaced selected text, but it still doesn't work.
Does anybody know why this is happening?

Thanks.

--snippet--

Alias /home/ "/var/www/"
<Directory "/var/www/">
     Options Indexes MultiViews
     AllowOverride None
     Order allow,deny
     Allow from all
</Directory>

Alias /icon/ "/var/www/icons/"
<Directory "/var/www/icons/">
    Options Indexes MultiViews
    AllowOverride None
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all
</Directory>
