Subject [users@httpd] Apache with Win95 problem
Date Mon, 17 Feb 2003 16:12:12 GMT
Hi all,

I am trying to set up a learning environment on an old PC (P150/80MB RAM/3GB HD) with the
purpose of ... learning :) Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL.
Until I get comfortable with the Linux environment, I try to setup Apache on my Win95(SR2)
PC.

Environment:
Apache version 2.0.44 (win32-x86-no_ssl)
Windows 95 SR2

Problem:
When I try to start Apache, I get the following msg.
"APACHE caused an invalid page fault
   in module LIBHTTPD.DLL at 0137:6ff18a08"
As instructed in the installation procedure, I have upgraded Winsock to version 2, installed
MDAC.
Solution:
I don't have any.
Can Apache work on Windows 95?

Thanks for any comment.

Philippe
