Subject [users@httpd] Bad file descriptor: Couldn't create accept lock.
Date Fri, 14 Feb 2003 03:29:53 GMT
Hi,

I'm using httpd-2.0.39 on FreeBSD. I put the
"apachectl start" command in the startup script. But
intermittently apache fails to start when the computer
reboots. Then I have to manually start it. Here is the
message in the error log:

[emerg] (9) Bad file descriptor: Couldn't create
accept lock.

What's the problem and how can I fix it?

Thanks very much,
Jin
