Subject [users@httpd] Fresh New Installation on Linux
Date Fri, 28 Feb 2003 23:01:56 GMT
Apache List,
I have successfully installed Apache 2.0.44 on my Linux
Box. In my prevision Red Hat install, the way that I started the
service was:

/sbin/service httpd start

I can't do that any longer. How can I make it where my
new install of Apache can be started the same way? Also, there is no
entry in the "Services" program in Red Hat any longer to start and stop
Apache. Can someone help me configure this? Thanks,
