Thank you Brian for those kind words.  As I stated in the original
question...I need the ftp so my clients can upload files to their home
directory which can then be served by APACHE

You might want to check linux.org for an ftp how to.

Also, this is an Apache mailing list, not a redhat or ftp mailing list.
