Subject Re: [users@httpd] Can one instance of Apache serve 2 different tomcatapp servers on single machine
Date Thu, 09 Jan 2003 14:07:10 GMT
I was once running Tomcat 4 and Apache 2 on a Win2k machine, and at the
time since there was no working module for Win32 & tomcat, I used the
ReverseProxy & ProxyPass directives to have requests for certain folders
proxy to the port of the Tomcat server. This may be an option for you,
as it would allow you to run two instances of tomcat, and have different
apps proxy to differing versions. The biggest trick you'd face would be
configuring the different Tomcat versions so they use completely
different ports (not just the HTTP interface, but the APJ12, APJ13
interfaces as well).

no idea personally, though it's a good idea to not hit reply and change
the subject when posting, you don't start a new thread when you do and
it makes it harder to track for getting answers. ;)
