I'm sorry, but, here is my previous .htaccess file :

AuthUserFile /var/www/mms/password/doc.txt
AuthName "Acces Restreint"
AuthType Basic

require valid-user

It didn't work anymore, unless I modify it like that :

AuthUserFile /var/www/mms/password/doc.txt
AuthName "Acces Restreint"
AuthType Basic

<Limit GET POST>
require valid-user

So, it seems, it's required !
